Dosha
We are all made up of three groups of five elements, in fact everything created is. Knowing your personal dominant elements will help you understand why you are the way you are, and more importantly; the first step in learning how to balance yourself in any and every situation. You may be familiar with Traditional Chinese Medicine and their theories of how the elements affect you, but before TCM was explored there was an even older tradition in Ayurveda studies. Ayurveda has used a unique tool to break down the understanding of health in all forms of life. We call these tools Vata, Pitta, and Kapha. Explore your dosha in detail with a Wellness Consultation.
Discover your dosha for free with any of our Ayurvedic services, includes a brief explanation with the dosha test.
Dharma
Dharma is the Sanskrit word to describe what we know as our purpose. In this case it is the purpose of your soul. Discover the dominant element of your spirit, your spirit personality, why you are drawn to live a certain way, and why you strive as you do. Often times people live their whole lives asking themselves what they want to do with there life. Sadly this is not always understood before they have watched their life fly by. This understanding of your Dharma offers you the tools you need to discover a deeper part of you. What you are capable of, and what doors have been open to you all along the way. Living a life that doesn't suit you can lead you to deep sadness because you are not feeling accomplished on a deeper level. Discover your spirit type! To learn more...
The Four Aims of Life
The Four Aims Of Life are deeply ingrained in us but without direction they can become lost and forgotten. You have heard of "life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness" I am sure, and many of us continue to strive for these even without direction. These are just three of the four and yet even knowing these three we can still be lost without ever discovering our own path to happiness. Ayurveda has shed light on this and provided understanding as to how to discover your own personal road map.

Yoga & Meditation
Yoga and meditation both come in many forms and for an abundance of beneficial reasons. Did you know that yoga was originally created to strengthen one's ability to meditate? It's true! Many believe it to be the other way around. It's also true that they work hand-in-hand. Yoga is most popularly known for its poses; asana in sanskrit. There are actually many thoughts and theories of yoga that are most beneficial when used together. It is important to exercise at least 30 minutes a day, asana or not. It is also important to learn how to breath (pranayama in Sanskrit) in the most beneficial way for your body type and it may even be more important to learn in an effort to balance the mind during times of stress. Discover Karma yoga, not to be confused with the common understanding of Karma. Karma yoga is a deeper practice; ways of living in action that brings most benefit to your soul and your life.

Bramacharya
This is a practice of good virtue, pure heartedness, and high integrity. It is said that if we over indulge the senses, it will create harm to the body-mind-spirit connection. Balanced discipline and self-control are critical for self evolution, including celibacy of sexuality. Protect your spiritual immunity or ojas (inner love and energy) by being respectful to yourself and others. Bramacharya is also a practice of energy healing, not just for self but also with the laying-on-of-hands. There is the mutual energy connection that can be shared between the cosmos and each other. Techniques can be shared but the true connection can only be connected by those whose virtue is good and who mean to heal. Energy healing is not understood by all but when explored the experienced is delightful for the soul as well as for the mind and also for the body. Spa Of The Earth offers a variety of energy healing services. Energy healing is considered a spiritual medicine and therapy .
Marma Therapy - similar to eastern acupressure; points on the body are gently and firmly pressed to release stagnation of physical, spiritual, and emotional stress.
Acutonics Vibrational Tuning - also similar to eastern pressure point massage with the addition of vibrational energy running through your cells. This treatment is also found in our Naturopathic Facial and Body Treatments. Does not hurt, it actually feels amazing!
Reiki Medicine - a therapy also known as Prana or Chi that can be administered by laying-on-hands or distance. Energy from the universe is called upon by the practitioner on a level that can only be tapped into by attuned healers. Reiki can easily be added to any other service.
*Want to become a Reiki healer? Sign-up for our next Reiki-I attunement class. If you are already Reiki I attuned and would like to be attuned for Reiki II and Reiki master, but do not see a current class available, inquire about the next class session or ask for a private lesson. No additional fee for private Reiki attunement and certification.
Marma Crystal Healing - Combines Marma therapy principals with crystal medicine; this service can be added to any of our spa, energy, meditation and some yoga services. No additional fee, just ask.
Guided Shamanic Healing - This is the ultimate energy healing session combining all of the above with the addition of spiritually guided meditation and Native American Indian ritual.
Ayurveda Rejuvenation
spa services are nice but what if I told you that Ayurvedic spa treatments are meant to give you healing on all levels of your being, that certain oils and herbs are more or less appropriate for your body-mind type and even your spirit. It's true, it's a science. You are unique and not every service protocol or skincare product is going to benefit you as a whole. This is where Ayurveda comes in, as an Ayurvedic practitioner I discuss with you more than just your likes and dislikes but rather what is ailing you. Spa services at Spa Of The Earth go deep, offering skincare remedies and non-invasive body contouring that balance the mind and spirit. However, the most important part of Ayurveda rejuvenation is that it is a form of detox, and if done right it can leave you feeling rejuvenated. When you come in for a service your concerns will be addressed, your dosha's will be discussed, and your skin will be analyzed for the best protocol to battle your concerns for skin, weight-loss and other respects. Spa Rejuvenations are separated into three categories for your convenience under Spa Body and Facials & Beauty services.
Dosha Balancing Remedies
Sometimes we need a little help supplementing our health especially with the busy lives we lead. Stress is the root of all evil, and that includes poor sleep, poor digestion, and even poor habits. Our body is made to constantly detox, rejuvenate, and recover. Furthermore, with all that we put our body through it can began to breakdown and slow the process of healing to the point that our immune system becomes compromised. Herbal supplements are highly recommended and this includes spices and nutrition. We offer classes on these topics to better educate you on the battle towards good health. We also offer custom made products and tools to combat some of these ailments. View our store or schedule a free consultation to help you determine what may benefit you best. Below is a quick reference sheet to help you live your best life.
